Print this Page Welcome to the Idaho Voters Guide!

This website, provided by Cornerstone Institute of Idaho, has been designed to familiarize the Idaho voter with the 2008 candidates and their views on a number of family-related issues. How to Use the 2008 Idaho Voters' Guide

It's here to help you. While Cornerstone cares deeply about many public-policy issues, we cooperate with all Idahoans of goodwill -- whether Democrats, Independents or Republicans -- to achieve common goals important to a majority of Idahoans. Nothing in the Idaho Voters' Guide should be construed as our endorsement of any candidate or political party, or as an attempt to influence the outcome of an electoral contest. Easy to use. To begin, Click on the IDAHO VOTES logo at the bottom of this page to determine your districts, or call your County Election Board (see the government pages of your phone book) and provide them your home address. Once you know your district(s), you can view your candidates' responses to our questionnaire. Additional comments from specific candidates (if marked by an asterisk*) can be viewed (see Full Candidate List and Submitted Questionnaires). In PDF format, voters can view a candidates' entire signed questionnaire and any comments or clarifications they may have made about specific questions. To view candidate questionnaires, Adobe Reader must be installed on your computer. Click the link provided to download and install the free Adobe Reader 9.0 software if you don't have it already. In many cases, candidates failed to answer our questionnaire (which they received twice at their address-of-record; once by Certified Mail) and ignored Idaho Voters Guide's repeated follow-up attempts to encourage their participation. For these unresponsive candidates, we have provided home or office telephone numbers when available. We encourage voters to phone and question these candidates directly. After all, they seek your vote; they want to work for you -- the taxpayers -- and collect a salary paid by you. So, ask questions; this is a job interview! Spread the word! Be sure to tell others about this Web-site to increase its usefulness prior to the General Election. Thanks for using this Guide, and remember to vote confidently on November 4th!
Click on your district to get a listing of your candidates and their views on issues related to the family.
